Guidance Notes for completing the Application Form :
The application form has several sections; it is important that all sections are completed.
Procedure after your Application is Submitted
After the closing date, the Human Resources team will shortlist candidates for interview. This will be based entirely on merit and suitability for the post but taking account of the Company’s responsibilities in relation to the Equality Act 2010.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and asked to attend an interview and will be advised of any arrangements such as tests or presentations for the interview day. Unfortunately we are only able to respond to those who have been shortlisted for interview; therefore if you do not hear from us within 10 working days of the closing date then your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.
After the interview candidates will be advised of the result as soon as practicable. All appointments are conditional upon receipt of references and other pre-employment checks satisfactory to O’Brien Waste Recycling Solutions Ltd.
We endeavour to ensure that every stage in our recruitment process is fair and carried out in a professional manner. We hope you feel that you have been treated fairly and helpfully, even if you are not successful in your application.
If you are unsuccessful and feel that feedback on your interview would be helpful, please contact the Human Resources Department who will be pleased to arrange for this to be given to you.
Equality Policy Statement
O’Brien Waste Recycling Solutions are an equal opportunities employer and are fully committed to treating all employees and applicants equally.

‘A person has a disability if he or she has a physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on his or her ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities’.
Disabled applicants who have any special requirements for attending an interview should complete the relevant section of the monitoring form and contact Human Resources to confirm any adjustments.

We would discuss these possibilities with candidate once they have been offered a position. If you require additional information about our facilities or our ability to meet your practical needs, please contact Human Resources on 0191 2622453.
We would like you to complete the monitoring form so that we are able to monitor our Equality policy in relation to employment.
